Letters to Eileen

Eileen is a beautiful little old Lady back in Prescot UK who used to have me over "for tea" and would tell me stories about when she was a nurse. I loved her right away. I left England and didnt tell Eileen because I couldnt bear to see her disappointed in me. Today I sent her this: Dearest Eileen, Hello and how are you? I hope this letter finds you well. I miss you. …as you probably already know, Jonathan and I are divorced. It was 100% my fault and I know that. I wanted to talk with you about it at the time, I really did. I so wanted to call you or even just run to your house and cry on your shoulder but I was so ashamed that I hid. Please forgive me. Jonathan is a wonderful man and I still value his opinion over everyone else’s. We keep in contact regularly over the internet and have come to a point in our friendship that is respectful, happy and full of blessing. I am so fortunate and so grateful.
